NSS

The NSS department of the college is the main asset of the college which provides ample scope to both the girl and boys volunteers to explore their talent and develop themselves into a good human being. All the co-curricular, extra-curricular and cultural activities undertaken by the NSS department throughout the year are student centric. The current NSS programme officer, Prof. S.V. Kale extends his full support to the volunteers in all activities, along with the other teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Some of the prominent activities run by the NSS department are Literacy programme, anti-child abuse programme, plastic free campus and adjoining area, etc.

Library

The College boasts a library fully able to cater the need of all stakeholders. It has enough volume of books to satisfy the need of the students, teachers and the non-teaching staff too. The primary text books, secondary resources and reference books along with books for competitive examinations that would be useful to the aspirants are there in the library. Every year the college takes care to add more books that would help the students more in their studies.

Games & Sports

In the academic year 2008-09 the Arts College, Jarud participated in various games activities like Cricket, Vollyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho etc. organised by S.G.B. Amravati University, Amravati. Also the students participated in different sports competitions organised by different sports organisations from local level.

On the occasion of Dr. Bhausaheb Deshmukh Births anniversary, college organised an sports competition for students. The Certificate issued to the participated students.

Girls’ Common Room

The girls’ common room is one more striking feature of the college. The administration always thinks in providing safe and secure place to its students, especially girls. Keeping in view the need of the girl students a separate common room has been erected to satisfy all their basic needs. The Girls’ common room also has a “Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine” that can be availed by girl students at free of cost.

Solar System

The College has the solar system installed for the smooth functioning of the institution. It also helps the college reduce the electrical expenses that ultimately prove beneficial in utilising the saved amount in other college related works.

Green Campus

The College is proud to have an all green campus which helps all the stakeholders to keep mentally positive energy. Apart from lectures, the students can utilize their spare time in the campus to develop kinship with nature.
